This design decision was made to avoid the hard bottoming-out experience that's common with switches with longer stems; a decision driven by a commitment to create an ideal balance between tactile feedback, auditory experience, and user comfort. Moreover, the KTT Hyacinth deviates from the mainstream trend of using dual-stage elongated springs, instead opting for a single-stage elongated spring. This choice was driven by a preference for a more consistent force curve.
